(GM) What is sometimes hard to discern is exactly what is he good for (hence useless?), and in your (adequate) description, one might still wonder what's the big benefit. OK, he's working hard (and was part of the double up on bale to start the move. pfft). But it's not really a coincidence. That you talk about not risking it, is not "just coz he plays low risk" - he has good control, could dribble, does the short, quick interchange stuff very well, including reading the game and other players moves - and to all of that add all the "professional" stuff, the fighting spirit, etc. So, though I'm not really thinking "wow, lucky us, we have Yossi", I notice when he does contribute - and he did on sunday (which didn't get the fireworks Rosicky got, though they must be more or less in the same bracket - both usually and on sunday).
