To be fair ending in third wasn't all by default, when we were on a run of putrid results and needed that home win against Spurs we got it.
That screwed them up and the run that followed gave us enough of a lead to hold onto when our form got ropey again.

All this City love and appreciation is rather sickening if you don't mind me saying so.
Sure they are the lesser of two evils but I reckon over time they've got enough to kill this league as any kind of a real competition
I've no respect for what they achieved in the sense that it's the least that you expect from a squad of players assembled for close enough to a billion.
If we spent that kind of money we'd win all four trophies.

Chelsea couldn't win all four trophies.

Since 2005/06 season they've been found wanting for the majority of the time in both the CL and League.

And in what sense do you have respect for what they've achieved?

Utd will be right up there again next season. Be interesting to see what Chelsea do now though, and whether or not they can cobble something together. Don't think Di Matteo will do it for them though. Liverpool are years away from anything, and Spurs are just Spurs.

It'll probably be a two-horse race.

Chelsea did not dominate between 2006-2012. They won a league title and 3 FA cups but they didn not dominate. United dominated.

Tonys right, United dominated, Chelsea competed. Same as we competed for the 10 years before that while United dominated.

They managed to claw their way back after their defeat to us. I respect that to some degree.
I was exaggerating when I said we'd win all four trophies if we spent the kind of money that City spend.
