Carroll or Chamakh, which would you "prefer"?
Carroll. Still convinced he will come good. Chamakh meanwhile is hopeless
Reckon Carroll would actually score a few for Arsenal. At Liverpool, Chamakh would still be the same hapless sack of shit.
Though my my thoughts about his transfer fee look a bit silly now!
Carroll's started a lot more games than Chamakh without scoring or contributing. The difference at this point is marginal, not that you'd want either any where near your team.
The main difference is that Arsenal's midfield is still a whole lot better at creating chances than Liverpool's, despite their flaws
We've never been suited to create chances for a striker in the Andy Carroll mould though - not that we should try. He's probably the least mobile striker in the league and prefers crosses and long balls in the air. We won't do that.
Fair points, but I still think he'd be scoring more than one goal every 12 months in our team.
im hoping the tottenham title delusion is crushed today. iI want want some old fashioned, demoralising, wheels-coming-off humiliation. city better not choke
Yep, City had better hand out a good thrashing to Spurs today. They'll be without Gallas and possibly King. Would love to see Aguero destroy that back four. Though how jammy is it that Spurs face them when they are without Kompany and Yaya. Balotelli and Silva will be available?
yes to both. baloltelli is always up for big games

Would rather have Chamakh. Carroll is shit on a stick and can barely execute the basics. Its a big struggle for him just to control the football and lay it off to the nearest man.
Yeah, Carroll is still extremely raw, even though he's played a lot of football. I think you have to play a certain way to get the best out of him. Wouldn't want somebody as technically poor as him leading our front line.
😆
Also, with the signings of Downing and Adam, Liverpool have gone out of their way to set themselves up for Andy Carroll. Even if he manages 15 goals a season through sheer brute force, he's still an appalling buy.
If Spurs play the same gung-ho way, City will punish them on the counter.

😆 😆 How does he manage to shoot backwards?!
😆 Another classic Carroll moment.
Could be a brilliant assist if someone was running behind though, think that was Carroll's first intention as well.
😆 that gif gets funnier the more I see it
Ledley King is back for Tottenham. Never lost a game with them since 2010.
