😆
We'd all have to return refugee style to the Lobby.

qs - if we sign him (just getting a little bit superstitious) may I adopt that muppet as my avi? Please 🙂

Y is if fair to say you want nothing more than for us gooners to get cazorla?

If that's not the case explain why in no less than 2000 words

Pellegrini said this earlier, speaking to the press: "Selling him [Cazorla] for 20m would be a giveaway."

Don't like increasing media attention. Worried others will wake up

That basically means their asking price is 20m.

Right now I want nothing more than for us to sign Cazorla 🙂
Dopily excited about this, I really should calm down.
If they announced this tomorrow my weekend would be a write-off.

Not concerned about other clubs muscling in on this and the £20m, well hmm, we could afford it.

And thats 20 million weak ass Euros. A pittance. This is what Wengers been waiting for, his ecomics degree and big brain meant he seen the eurozones weakness and the near collapse of the Spanish economy coming.

Y va, go for it but you can only type posts whilst stuffing your face with cookies from then on.

I'm sure Wenger and our board will be reluctant to spend €20m on a player with very little re-sale value at the end of a 3 year deal. 🙂

They spent similar amounts on arshavin at the same age.

Wasn't serious, hence the emoticon.

Neither do i...

I dont think John Cross knows anything tbh. There are run-of-the-mill bloggers who seem to have more of an inside track on Arsenal these days. Almost certain that we do NOT "have a deal in place" for cazorla yet, and the Wilshere stuff is just scare mongering.

The only thing I'm certain of is that we're interested.

There has been nothing substantial whatsoever in the media yet. Player, manager, both clubs - none have confirmed any agreement of any sort.

Lot of smoke, but that's how we've been burned in the past - as it were.

There is not much money changing hands at the moment, outside of the stupid money at City, Chelsea, PSG etc. Overall transfer spending is down by a third apparently.

Clubs have got to be aware that they can't turn down too many reasonable offers - if they actually need to sell that is. A big buyout clause won't keep your players warm in winter.

The big spenders don't need every player and we're not hearing about them being interested in gazumping us on this one (fingers crossed).

Consensus is that he would play 10 for us, then? I think he is being looked at as a wide option.

'Replace' Walcott? Not at all impossible. Can see him being used a la Nasri. Would be a bit disappointing however.

A. Because we'd have lost Walcott.
B. Because we seem to 'waste' a lot of our top technical players out wide.

Guess you can't say in advance though.
