Well, Clrnc, I hope Mata doesnt go the same way as the last player we nearly signed from Valencia in the summer of 2004 or 2005 I believe it was, a certain Miguel Angulo. We were inches away from actually signing him, we agreed a fee, he came to London and passed a medical only to change is mind at the last minute-after seeing how poor the weather was over here!
Anyway, in general I have doubts over Spanish players moving over here. Either they all end up wanting to go home (Reyes, Alonso, Cesc) or end up falling apart (Torres, Arteta, Cesc).
