Mata isn't even close to Cesc's level. I don't think we're buying him as a replacement though. In my opinion Ramsey will replace Fabregas in the starting eleven, whether it's now or in a couple of years.

Klaus, I struggel to name many players on Cesc's level. We are not buying anyone of that caliber. Given our tendencies in the market, I would be happy to see Mata come in as a Fabregas replacement. Whether Ramsey actually becomes the starter (with Wilshere in the Cesc role), or Mata comes in and pushes Nasri central, doesn't matter to me. I'd just be happy to have a relatively good player in Mata join us

Don't really know too much about Canales, but I'm not keen on signing players that need the attack built around them ala Fabregas.

The Star, who everyone else seems to be copying, are saying £13M, and a few other places I've seen are saying the same. This place, for example.

£13M or £15M, it's a bloody good deal in this market. Mata and Gervinho for under £25M would be unbelievable value.
