The website says it's between 22m-24m. Either way I'd take it.

Suppose so. The timing couldn't be much worse though. I want a world-class midfielder if both of them are sold. Schweinsteiger will do, along with Mata and a centreback or two.

We got bent over a barrell and taken raw; no doubt about that.

No point sitting there and moping though, time to kick things into gear. We know that we targeted Gervinho, Alvarez (and before anybody says he was an unknown, it looks like he is going straight into Inters first team so the quality is there) and Chamberlain at the start of the window; we got two and one escaped us so we have been proactive in looking at attacking talent. The Mata bid was real as confirmed by his dad, so we'll see what happens there. Arsenal fans should never be afraid that Wenger will not replace attacking talent.

However, if Scott Dann is our only defensive signing, I'm going to break something.

it would be absolutely madness not to bring in a quality cm if both nasri and cesc leaves.

1-2 cbs needs to be brought in completely independent of the nasri/cesc situation.

This summer has been such a clusterfuck I dont even know where to start. From the outside it seems as though there is nobody in the set up who is prepared to make clinical decisions, and then stick to them.

Only Schweini is unrealistic. You´d be a right mug to go from Bayern Munich to us these days, or you are offered Man City wages, which is of course out of the question.

Don't be ridiculous. Any player who isn't a hardcore fan would prefer Arsenal over Bayern Munich. The problem with getting someone like Schweinsteiger would be the price tag, but we should have enough cash to convince them if the quoted sums for Nasri and Cesc are accurate.

Really Klaus? I think you are dead wrong there. Bayern Munich is certainly a bigger club than us, they were in the CL final just over a year ago, and they win things consistently on the domestic scene. Why would you want to come here and give up that?

Arsenal over Bayern Munich? You sure Klaus? Bayern are huge, and probably THE biggest club in the world for a german.

German players will pick them over us but not necessarily those of other nationalities. No point debating the merits, that's just the way it is.
