Why do you ask this question when you already know the answer Caligula? 🙂
Our standards of what is acceptable in terms of success are different to those of other teams in the top four.
Since 2005 it's been clear that the board are content with Wenger as long as he balances expenditure on transfers in with transfers out and secures a Champions League berth.
The only thing that will force change is an out and out rebellion from fans or us dropping out of the top four.
I sense at the moment that this season we're in danger of facing both of those realities.
Our best players have lost faith in Wenger and only big money would convince them to stay for another season subjected to his fake belief that somehow he's going to transform a team who cannot defend a four goal lead into world beaters.
We have a squad that, despite Wenger's insistence to the contrary, lacks a sense of spirit and togetherness born out of years of losing together in the most heart breaking of ways.
The only thing that will go some way to solve these problems is Wenger spending the kind of money that will make his nose bleed.
I don't see signs of that happening given our wrangling over wages with Nasri and the seemingly endless negotiations over Gervinho and Cahill.
