From what I read SSN are backtracking and now say City are biding for Clichy and just 'interested' in Nasri.

If it's true, it's more evidence as to how little faith the majority of the team have in Wenger and who blames them. I'm going to be livid if we lose Nas to City - we're becoming a joke, same thing happens every two years.

The only way Nasri will move to another team in England is if he refuses to sign and decides to let his contract run down. No way will we sell him to another English club.

Arsenal didn't want Ade and Toure so they were happy to take the money, knowing that City weren't going to get quality. That isn't the case with Nasri. It could however be the case with Clichy.

DP, I don't think Nasri (and Clichy, for that matter)'s leaving because of a lack of ambition from Wenger/the board. For me this comes down to money. If he didn't believe we're going in the right direction as a club, he wouldn't have been in continual negotiation over a new contract. I'm willing to bet that city are going to give him an enormous salary next season, provided he goes there.
