Yep, Zamparini confirms Pastore signed for PSG. Deal done.

Vucinic to Juve as well.

Fucking hell. If we can't get more than 50mil for Cesc, heads have to start rolling.

How/why is Pastore valued that high?

Because PSG are well and truly loaded.

Like Malaga, Getafe and Man City they are owned by a company and not an individual. They are as rich as anybody in the world at the moment.

In terms of ability to spend and wealth I think it is Man City followed by PSG, then Malaga, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Roma, Getafe etc. Just surprising Getafe haven't spend.

dont know that they havent been willing to spend, but maybe more of "who wants to go to Getafe?" they arent really a big club, they arent in a great location (smack dab in the middle of Spain).. they dont have the draw that the other clubs have, even with money

So do Malaga to be fair... and maybe PSG to a lesser extent. All players who goes to these clubs are for money definitely aint it

At least Malaga is on the coast.

and psg is in paris, the only game in town. they did have ronaldinho on their books before and just broke their own ligue 1 transfer record after previously paying real madrid 30+ mil for anelka . psg should have been a much bigger and better club with their own natural resources, but it never happened so i see no reason why they shouldn't be able to get the job done with unnatural resources. all these french players that are signing with them maybe doing so because they can finally get paid at home, but they are genuinely fans of the club.

😆
Surely not?
Though he'd get all the first team action he's been clamouring for there.

£9m is more than acceptable - ship him up there pronto.

Stoke. He'd probably kill it at Stoke actually. Set piece after set piece. Bet he'd score against us.

If this guy and Rooney can find a way to co-exist, I think United threaten to have the best offense outside Barcelona in Europe. They will have lots of speed, movement, flexibility and passing ability. This guy plus any three of Rooney, Hernandez, Nani, and Young will be a handful for any defense.

Meanwhile, back at Ashburton Grove...

Meh, I don't think united have improved neither will they by signing him

If history had been kind to us and we had landed that guy, Webber would've been a hero

No point the Premiership trophy even being taken out of Manchester this season.

That would be perfect. If we can reduce Nasri's immediate options, he might be fooled into signing an extension, just to give himself some security. A footballer winding down a contract is a slightly risky proposition. If he has a bad season or gets injured, he might find himself in an undesirable place financially

I would swap Lennon for Ade in a heartbeat. They're both dysfunctional but Ade is a much better, more productive player.

Can't see it making any difference whatsoever to Nasri though.

A much better more productive player?
Only in the moments when he's not being erratic and unreliable.
He's been rejected with good reason by the last three clubs he's played for.

He'll be good, maybe great, for a couple of months at Spurs club before rediscovering his talent for alienating team mates and managers.

As for it affecting the Nasri situation - probably not, if City want them both they can afford it.
