If Levy knows one thing, it is negotiating. Just as much filthy lucre from the buying club if the player is contracted and the lowest possible wages for the players coming in. In Ade's case, he even got $hitty to pay a percentage of his wages during the loan and beyond.

I'm surprised they've let Caulker go. He has a really good profile as a young player and has always looked decent whenever I've seen him. I'd have been very happy if we had signed him.

they earn too much. as much as people talk about arsenal wage structures and we don't pay enough. our wage bill is one of the highest in the world. someone is getting paid or overpaid.

If they keep him along with their new additions they will be a whole lot stronger this season.
Personally I'd like him to be off and for them to be deprived of his game shaping, flukey 🙂 match winning efforts.
To my biased mind they'd have been about 15 points worse off last season without him.
