You're right Y people tend to overthink and overstrategise, football is a very fluid game, where its all about waiting and taking your fleeting chances when they arrive.
In one years time the landscape may be very different.

This is why Fabregas and Van Persie should have been held to their contracts, would Fabregas have still been so enthusiastic about a Guardiolaless Barcelona? Van Persie have gone to a Moyes led Man Utd?

Things change.

Capoue is a replacement for Tom Hundredstone who they have tried to flog off whole summer. Scotty Parker is probably going too.

Decent squad, they are surely resigned to losing Bale now and this is the kind of quality they cannot afford to buy.

Capoue is a very decent signing for them.

I can see Spurs doing well this season, especially that I really rate AVB. I just hope we sign Suarez and some other players, move off their level and challenge for the title.

Their attacking midfielders bar bale are shit and their defense is worse.

Capoue, Paulinho and Sandro. What do they want with all those physical defensive midfielders? Parker and Huddlestone are still on their books aswell. They're becoming quite a physical side overall but lacking creativity and flair IMO.

I really like the look of their midfield tbh, but I prefer a physical midfield personally. Dembélé is a good ballcarrier too, they don't need too much creativity if their gameplan is to get the ball forward and wide quickly.

I think Lennon is all right, one dimensional but does his job well as a winger. Bale will need to be replaced though.
