the 3 ball is just too lethal a weapon for the dubs. in many facets okc were better, but they're too potent from behind the arc and have some excellent defenders

Re: Westbrook...it was embarrassing to see him give up after Durant shot that missed 3 with 40 seconds left. Basically let Curry go and let him nail that dagger 3.

i wonder what durant is going to do this summer. he must feel his time in OKC has run its course. this was their golden opportunity and they blew it

Westbrook is holding back Oklahoma City. They are not going to win a ring with him as their point guard. He committed most turnovers in West Conference Finals in the last 30 years.

almost of every team in the league has cap space. every team will try to recruit him and offer to bring in a supporting cast. every team can use him. he can go wherever he wants

What he is most likely going to do is sign a 1 + 1 deal, which is a 1 year deal with a player option to opt out in the following year. The NBA has received a monster TV deal like the PL and the salary cap is rising drastically.

This is how much he could make (It is roughly 4 years/150m if he signs with another team next year):

yea im sure he'll stay for 1 more year and then sign the big deal. the only complicating factor could be his health. if he has a recurrence of the foot injuries, it could really impact his long term money.

He is a primary reason why they are the "3rd best" team in the league, without him they didn't even make the playoffs last year.

The idea is that the Thunder are maxed out in terms of potential, whereas joining the likes of the Spurs or Boston will fundamentally transform those teams into perennial contenders.

Totally agree with this; I think he is amazing. Having said that, neither Westbrook nor Durant seem like the smartest players around. I think they both lack discipline.
