Went to Sheffield at the weekend. Got to see Hendry batter Higgins which was hilarious, Ronnie and Mark Williams share a high quality session of snooker and Ryan Day destroying the Chinese lad he was playing against. Plus a bit of Carter v Judd Trump.
With you on Judd Trump, Ricky. The cult of Judd Trump, "Come on Judd!" every time he walks to the table, leaves me cold. As does his continued ability to smash the balls around and leave nothing on. Delighted that Carter beat him the way he did. Almost as delighted as I am to see Ronnie playing so well- although he has it all to do against Neil Robertson today.
Stephen Hendry seemed a machine when I was a kid, so to see his final Crucible appearance end as it has is a bit weird; I'm sure he won't be complaining after his 147 though.
