Picked a good weekend to go by the sounds of it.

Hendry was before my time; he's been no more than an also-ran in my time watching snooker, so always thought of him as a bad losing, arrogant, dick. Sure he was amazing to watch in the mid-nineties though.

Ronnie has started like a house on fire here! Hasn't missed a shot yet.

Best I've seen Ronnie look in AGES. He's overflowing with confidence. Has Robertson rattled.

Well, we were lucky with the players we saw- but we also thought that by the second weekend, most of the men would have been sorted from the boys. We weren't far wrong, though had things turned out differently we'd have been watching Ding v Mark Allen on Saturday night, rather than Ryan Day.

I'd recommend the experience to anyone though, can't wait to go back!

Definitely something I'd like to do one day, whilst Ronnie's still around and challenging preferably.

Robertson looks like a deer caught in the headlights. Hoping the interval doesn't change that.

That's some going to win four on the spin against Robertson. Just hope he can take a couple more this afternoon and really press home his advantage before tonight's session. I think this is the best Ronnie's looked at the Worlds for some time, probably since his last win.

He looks like he's loving it for the first time in ages. Reckon he can smell another world title's on.

Well, they were saying the other day, that Ronnie reckons only John Higgins at his best can beat him when he's playing at his best. No Higgins= extra motivation?

Shame it looks like Robertson's going nick the last two.

Deeelighted for Ronnie. Couldn't believe the black Ronnie missed off the spot at 12-8 but no harm done in the end. He'll be tough to beat now.

I'm hoping for a Ronnie-Mcguire final. Ali carter gets under Ronnie's skin, so hope it's not him.

Ali Carter gets under my skin, and i don't even watch Snooker (unless i'm extremely bored at work).

I find it hard to see anyone but Ronnie winning. Good to see him playing so well.

Can see the beauty of watching a calm, watching-paint-dry sort of game as snooker to balance out the fury and despair you have to cope with as an Arsenal fan.

Watching Ronnie O'Sullivan play like that is a thing of beauty. Snooker is a riveting game to play and to watch - if you understand it of course. 🙂

Great to see him buzzing in the interview afterwards, he could hardly contain his excitement. Looks over the moon.

I don´t think snooker qualifies in the sports section. It´s not a sport more than darts ffs! Pub game... 🙂

Whether it's a sport or not - it takes a monumental amount of focus and concentration. Darts is for beer-bellied muppets.

I've never played a more challenging sport/game than snooker. It can drive you to despair if you start to get quite good at it. Absolutely maddening. Awesome when you're flying though.

Heh. Was just a poor attempt at a wind up. There are lots of "sports" that can be extremely exciting to watch once you give them a chance.

I remember getting up in the middle of the night to watch womens´ curling in the last Olympics. Now THAT is a fascinating sport to watch every 4 years!

Sweden beating Canada in the final was one of the most exciting sporting events I have ever seen. True story.
