Exactly. Professional football managers, especially those at the top level, are extremely well paid relative to what they actually do. Hard to feel too bad for multimillionaire football managers getting fired from a job whilst making in a year what most people wouldn't in over a decade of employment. All the while getting paid for another x amount of years compensation for the time left on their contract.

Absolutely not. Arteta will earn several lifetimes' worth of the UK median wage and he'll do it while working hard in the lap of luxury, with every material concern looked after. It's a stressful job, there's no doubt about it, but many jobs are stressful.

Claudius i don't see what relevance brooke has to do with spending 30m on some young south american. that strategy seems to work out for the clubs that do it. when you're buying top tier young talent it either works out for you on the field or on the balance sheet.
