Someone like Fofana was probably the stop gap, punty option we should have done. Even if he flopped you'd sell him on next summer handy enough. Burnwinter Nico Williams is not a player we want or need.

It all depends. Kid is 24 years old, with his prime still to come. If he doesn't want to be here, then obviously not. He's got the right skill set for what is sorely missing in this squad is my point. I think we've put ourselves in the situation of needing to recruit someone whether they're the perfect option or not due to our baffling squad management.

The club may act like it's got all the cards and is just waiting for the right player, but I think they just aren't looking up at the injury meteor headed straight for us.
