Don Pacifico agree, I've seem lots of talk about Arteta overcorrecting but I don't have confidence he's looking to bring in players to address our real deficit of technical quality. They all feel very similar to what he's previously recruited.

Bernard Woolley there has never really been a lack of interest in Martinelli. Quite recently Bayern were sniffing around for him.

Burnwinter I don't think he'd be great as an 8 for us unless it was against weak opposition. A bit like the rarely seen Eze/Ode midfield.

I’m not keen on selling Martinelli unless we replace him with someone who has similar pace and acceleration.

Mirth I agree. Until we see what Tzolis can do we shouldn't move Martinelli. The lack of links around has me hopeful that's the plan. Might change if Rogers gets done though.

Burnwinter I agree, our recruiting really worries me. Rogers is a good player but his career so far is mainly built on heavy xG overperformance. I don't think he will hit 10 bangers from distance every season and I'm not sure the rest of his game is good enough to make up for it. I would much rather get an elite technician like Kroupi.

Gurgen Couldn’t agree more that our recruitment pattern is extremely uni-dimensional. Even Partey (for all his other despicable qualities) created a far higher technical floor in our team. While I am honestly not a huge fan of Odegaard as a complete package, I will admit we need his technical qualities. Was hoping we would aggressively go for Nico Paz but RM really wanted their buy back clause.

Gurgen we do need someone who has the quality and balls to shoot powerfully from distance though. we are severely lacking in that department

Gurgen Kroupi overshot his xG more dramatically than Rogers. Rogers offers far more in general play too, he's a much more creative player and better in the build up than Kroupi. Kroupi may end up better than Rogers but I don't see it materialising for another 2-3 years.

Qwiss I'd get both, it's all speculation ATM but id have Rogers at mainly LW and Kroupi at CF with both of them having the ability to play as a 10 if needed.

Not 100% sold on Rogers but he looks like the best of who we have been linked with.. If Vinni becomes available then we can talk.

I feel like our attack is screaming for a technician, and this doesn’t really fit the bill, especially for the price? I’d be more intrigued if we were paying what we paid Noni last summer
