This isn’t an overturned red card. There’s no admission that the red card was the wrong decision and voided. The red card was just suspended essentially on request by a head of state.

My main take away from the world cup is how quickly VAR can be used to make the correct decisions, including offsides and corner kicks vs goal kicks. Premiership needs to ensure they are at a similar/same level by next season.
