No, not really. The only thing I enjoyed was an obvious improvement in our play from the back. We are really horrible at attacking and creating, there is no excuse for that.
After yesterdays game everyone was saying we are much more better at defending, but we conceded 18 shots, over 2 xG and if Atlethico had quality of forwards we watched yesterday this game wouldn't have ended as it did today.

Trossard and Jesus should be write-offs from now on. Lazy thinking and desperation are the only reasons they keep coming on as subs despite both looking like crud for months.

It isn't that insane in hindsight because Barcelona were literally caught paying referees through two decades. Both of Guardiola's CL wins with Barcelona had blatant refereeing corruption in the knockout rounds when there was a danger they were heading out.

A shy Barcelona fan will probably scream at me how Guardiola's a genius and they should've won anyway, but that isn't the point.

My preferred Arsenal lineup would probably include all of Timber, Calafiori, Eze, Saka, Trossard and Havertz. To miss so many of our most clutch players and get a 1-1 away is decent.

I didn't say great, but entire frontline was bad today and the changes should address this issue and they did. I also liked Eze replacing Ode. And tbf we were most likely to score in second half after the changes were made unless I am forgetting about something.

swider nah the triple sub was nonsense and only worked in the sense it added Saka in. Trossard was woeful and a netbet negatoive and Jesus was a ghost.

Sure, but in the first half I thought Hincapie did more than a half of Martinelli's job and Gabi was generally bad today. The other two were not much better. Throwing all three at the same time was a bit odd, I'd prefer one of them to be subbed with Eze, but he changed right players. The individual cameos were rather bad, but it looks like almost entire team is out of form, having said that I still think that changing the frontline was a good idea.
