Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert it's not an opinion on the players but the idea that Rogers and Alvarez are City rejects and therefore should be ignored is silly.
They wanted to keep Alvarez but he didn't want to play back-up to Haaland. The most lethal CF in world football. So in no way does that make him a reject or failure. Particularly given the paucity in the CF market.
And Rogers couldn't break into the first team at City as a youth player. No shame in that, particularly given the competition he was up against. At the best club in the world at that point (they'd just won the CL when he left). There are countless players who failed to break into top clubs as youth players that proved they were amongst the best when they were given a chance - Vieira at AC Milan is a great example of that. No one talks of him being a Milan reject or that being a problem.
