Qwiss Fernandes is a much better passer of the ball than Tonali or Bouaddi. He's not quite Wharton but he's a much more well rounded player who is already Premier League proven at 21. I also loved the responsibility he took on in their big games - thought he was one of, if not the best player on the pitch when we played them at the end of the season. Also love that he has some ball striking in his locker and can punish teams who sit off him. That all being said, I don't think Tonali would be a mistake.

I'm a bit petty, last time he wanted to join Barca and instead of us decided to extend his contract. He hasn't exactly done all that great since then either from what I can gather.

JazzG feels like a Sesko situation.

Never felt that Williams has anything demonstrably impressive to offer but won't pretend I'm highly informed on him. Also, feels like another 'system' player when we need more players that don't need the system to function.

JazzG would cost a lot for the transfer and has huge wages. He's also not really kicked on since we tried to sign him a couple of years ago. I don't think he's worth it and wouldn't improve us. Rogers is miles better.

I was desperate for us to sign him last year. Now, I'm not so sure.

At his best, he looks like the perfect fit for us at LW. But he has struggled with injuries all year and personally, I don't love that his heart seems set on Barca. I wouldn't want to bring in a player who is going to just be looking to move back to Spain as soon as he can. If our leadership team determines that isn't the case then it would definitely be something I'd be a little interested in but the injuries worry me.

samthegooner Most of these Latin players dream of Real Madrid or Barca so wouldn't hold that against him but when Barca couldn't sign him it felt like he shut out everyone else which is a bit more concerning. Hasn't really kicked in the last couple of years but he needs to move to a better side otherwise you get stuck, look at Leao for example. Had the potential to be one of the best but if you miss that window you might never get that chance.

Don Pacifico Got a feeling he will be on everyone's radar again after the world cup! Seems a bit injury prone and is still only 23 so will get better.

Besiktas want Trossard, 20 mil fee and 7 mil per year for him. Online people are saying this reporter is reliable for Turkish news. I tend to never trust them but that would be a good deal for all.

Fully expect RM/Barca to be after Hincapie if he has another good year with us.

Cannon Both clubs already being linked to him this summer. No chance we let go and while it is annoying as hell, I suppose it is a good sign to see our players being eyed up by top clubs again!

JazzG I like Scott - he is definitely more technical of a midfielder than we have currently while still being decent in duels. I've seen some people compare him to Vitinha but that's likely a stretch. I assumed he wasn't going to move this summer so didn't wishlist him but would've had him in my list of CM targets. For me, it would depend on the price. For like 50m-70m in this market, I think he's a good deal. Anything more than that and it would make me feel a bit uncomfortable, but I really feel like there's a group of CM's that will all be able to come in and help us next year and as long as we get one of them, I will be happy. I think my order of preference would be:

Cannon I hope that's true. A big attacking addition should be the priority. Having midfield depth is nice and all but it shouldn't come at the expense of upgrading the front line.

He's sort of like a version of Rice. A 'destroyer' but can dribble, pass progressively and control the ball in tight spaces. Of course, everyone looks great in a highlight reel. Though he is with the French team at the WC (one of only 5), so he must be at least a little decent.

he's madueke-esque with some of his finishing, but he has superior technique and can pick a decent pass

Gazza M Barcola would be an incredible signing. Fastest player in the world with the ball?

He is also super fast, like Martinelli fast, but with superior technique and ball control. Would we prefer Barcola or Rogers if we had to choose. I doubt we'd sign both.
