some people seem to think arteta wants to play this way. yes he wants defensive solidity, but he isn't making anyone shit. it's usually fans of odegaard and saka that want to blame arteta, but we play this way because our "stars" are so god damn limited as attacking talents and we had to get results. this was a miracle season with what we're working with. what's the point of being shittier as a team so that saka can have 15 non-penalty goals and odegaard could do fancy flicks to his heart's content until one comes off. that's not nearly enough. if we're going to compromise the team he better score 30.
get better attackers and we'll be fine. find an elite winger left or right and then put saka on the left wing if it's a right winger. he needs to go home to the left anyway and be a traditional winger, inversion isn't for him anymore. that's for explosive scorers.
p.s. vinny jr is average. did he play against us last season? i can't remember him.
