Kroupi is a must. He’s a livewire and would bring moments of magic. Good profile alongside Gyokeres, Havertz and Merino. Need to consider the balance of age across the squad

Midfield is a toss up between Fernandes and Tonali for me. Both are top tier operators. That said I’d happily take Alex Scott too

Do also think we should look to move Kepa on and bring in a more confident and less rash keeper to provide depth and competition to Raya

I was watching all the goals from this season and Merino really is a weapon up front. His link up play and finishing is so good.

One of the main reasons I’ve been critical this season is that I think we’ve been far below our potential. Much of it I think has been tactical, with Arteta being much more constrained and conservative in his approach than I think he needs to be, especially with the strength of the defensive unit he’s built. The other aspect has been availability of key players. I think there’s also score to increase the technical level of the team too.

strikes me as the luxury utility player. You can bring him in virtually any position in almost any game when needed, and he'll do a job. also to fill in for injuries etc. Seems like such a nice guy too

Gurgen I think I'm coming around to this thinking too and I have been absolutely in the bag for Alvarez. But Kroupi's link up play is incredibly impressive and something I seriously overlooked. He does not take a bad touch on the ball at all and is so economic with his touches. The fact he is only 19 and has room to grow physically is just a bonus. We would be a perfect club for him in that there is a serious need for his strengths - ball striking, link up play and versatility, but we also don't need him to be the main man at all. I think we would have to pay more than we should for him but we're champions and paying a little over the odds to add to a close to complete squad is something I'd be willing to do. I'd also be interested in seeing if we may be able to do a little swap with Nwaneri or send him there on loan.

RowJimmy True but selfishly I want him next year. I'd be more interested in one of those type of setups if we went in for Kennet Eichhorn. I doubt he leaves the Bundesliga but it sounds like City is in for him. We can't let them have a free run at him for his minuscule release clause (12m). Sign him and loan him back to the Bundesliga for a year.

Gurgen Exactly what I think too. Such an obvious transfer all things considered that you think half the employees at the club must be pushing for it at the moment.

Here's a question for folks - give me your wishlist for the summer. It can be optimistic of course but let's say we only bring in 3-4 players max this summer, who do you want? Let's be a tiny bit realistic (i.e. Kvara is okay but let's not have Yamal/Mbappe etc.).

Mine would be: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Eli Junior Kroupi, Elliot Anderson and Josh Acheampong.

Kvara and Anderson are probably a stretch but if we were to add these four, I think we threaten 95-100 points next year. Give me Yildiz and Fernandes as backups and I still think we're cooking.

I would do anything to bring in Kroupi, Tonali and Kvaratskhelia, although I have no idea why PSG would let Kvara go.

I suspect we're gonna end up with either Gordon or Barcola, Alvarez or Yildiz, Reijnders or Mateus Fernandes, and maybe someone like Kayode.

Klaus Reijnders would be a terrible signing. He's been awful for City.

I think the floor of the window will likely be close to what RowJimmy predicted (Kroupi & Bouaddi) and even that would be a solid window for me. I think the ceiling would be Klaus (Kroupi, Kvara, Tonali), which would be an absolutely ludicrous window that would make us instant favorites to win everything and likely run away with the league. Even the second options in that post (Gordon/Barcola, Alvarez/Yildiz, Fernandes/Reijnders, Kayode) would be an insane window.

I think if we do what everyone is assuming we will do in selling Jesus, one of Trossard/Martinelli, and Norgaard then signing 2-3 players will be a good window. You can continue to address things in a one in/one out fashion if White were to leave.

As long as we bring in a top level attacker this summer at the very least, I will be happy. I think my more realistic wishlist is likely Barcola, Kroupi, Fernandes, Acheampong (if White leaves). Exciting times!

I think there's little chance that we buy more than two first-team players in a world cup year. So for me, Kroupi and Bouaddi.
Fernandes instead of Bouaddi would be fine with me. Anderson if he moves will go somewhere he's a nailed-on starter.
I am of the opinion that because of his injury status Ben White is worth more to us than we could sell him for. So I'm good with going into next year with our choice of defenders as is.

In January we will know a bit more about which players who have missed a fair bit of time this season are recovering well and which are not, and we can make a move then.

Kroupi would be great, especially if he could play left for us.

Seems we will need a Noorgard replacement, but we will have Merino back again. Might need a RB if White goes.

We don't actually need too much. A special player like Kroupi or another starting left attacker is probably the main focus. Then it just depends on what Mikel and his team think about the striker position, where were not as clinical as we could / should have been.
