Would love to see Madueke out of the door but there's a reason for this.

Noni's on £150k, Ndiaye is on £45k per week.

Any potential fee would have to be around £50m or over to make it worthwhile to Arsenal. So essentially a buying club would have to offer Noni £150k+ p/w and a transfer fee of £50m or above. Which won't happen unless the club are prepared to take a write down.

Tzolis looks tidy but he's played against one championship opposition team in the league only so far....it's a major gamble and people keep mentioning eze on the wing when he's played about 2 games there all year and clearly cannot track back, that's just dangerous if you have cala behind him

Claudius so we can agree that we haven't done what was needed there and that it's hard to achieve.

The club tried for Vini and Alvarez, that's good enough for me. If the club sells Martinelli and Trossard regardless of whether they succeed, that's not good enough for me. People mention Eze, but both Martinelli and Trossard were mostly preferred over Eze on LW so that's pretty much Arteta himself confirming that he thinks we've downgraded our second choice LW (I'm hopeful we've not downgraded our first choice, but that remains to be seen).

QuincyAbeyie if PSG had put Doue up for transfer, and not Barcola, I’d be upset if we weren’t involved. I would love the magic of Henry and Bergkamp. We won the league without it, so I’m not desperate for the many mediocre forwards who moved this year. But a global superstar forward is special.

I don't think they were preferred, it was more so that Eze's utility came centrally due to Odegaard's stop start season. He's not had a proper chance to play there so still everything to prove in the position for us.
