I have always thought that, in the absence of "at will" contracts in football, clubs should have safeguard clauses in player contracts which specify that, in case of misconduct by the player (standard to be defined in the contract), the club is allowed to not pay / pay only partially their wages for such period. The inevitable disputes on what constitutes misconduct will of course only be settled at a tribunal.

i assume he can put in crosses with his strongest foot. i don't get this obsession with inverting every damn winger. i'm convinced that's why the winger market is so shit. not everyone is cut out to be an inverted winger. you need to be able to cut in and score or what's the point. some players should just be old school and run down the touchline and whip 'em in with their strong foot.
