i assume he can put in crosses with his strongest foot. i don't get this obsession with inverting every damn winger. i'm convinced that's why the winger market is so shit. not everyone is cut out to be an inverted winger. you need to be able to cut in and score or what's the point. some players should just be old school and run down the touchline and whip 'em in with their strong foot.

Mirth samthegooner who else is moving this window? I’d prefer someone better than N’Diaye but the list of options is vanishingly small. The club also have made it clear they’ll only release funds if they agree with the valuation so I doubt they’ll go after Barcola. Ultimately Rogers and Vini were on the shortlist and they’ve fallen through.

N’Diaye is nothing like Eze btw - the latter is a central player that plays in the half space and picks his moments to be effective while N’Diaye is a wide player that shows for the ball and dribbles time after time. Very different profiles.

I'll admit I was definitely wrong here. Watched the full Everton game today and N'Diaye was incredible. If we are going to sell Martinelli, bringing in N'Diaye would be awesome and give us another dimension with his dribbling. He can play on the left and the right too so we could use him as the first option with Tzolis and to give Saka days off.

Meatwad Ndiaye is prob 20-30m better than Mart. Don’t forget one plays for a shit side and the other for an elite side. Put the former in an elite side is worth £20-30m more than Mart

That's what's great about this situation. If we don't sign him we'll know that he didn't want to be here, and if we do then I too believe that Arteta wouldn't sign anyone who's not sold on the project.

Sicario2 that can go either way. Playing with better players may see him go up a level or having less space could be a problem for him.

In an ideal world I think my preference would be to keep Martinelli until January and then see if we could sell him and buy Kroupi but it seems we are going to sell him now so I think we need to get another winger in now. N’Diaye looks like the best non-Barcola option out there and could come right in and contribute so that would be my pick. I also think he’s a much better dribbler than Eze and doesn’t disappear nearly as much as Eze does. I’d love to let Eze get a shot there but he just seems to float in and out of games and after seeing Tzolis demand to be a primary option the last two matches, I’d want another guy like that to rotate in.
