Yeah, true, and TBH, there are a couple things in our favor. First, we clearly want him, and he can be the final piece of the puzzle to get us over the line in the CL (possibly). He solves our LW issues. He gets to keep all his image rights (which would honestly boost his salary by almost double). He would be the main guy here. At Real, he's always second fiddle to Mbappe. Also, ROC nation will push him toward us, as they would get a bigger payout (and JayZ is an Arsenal fan). And even though we don't have the international recognition that Madrid have, its not like we're unknown, and we are clearly on the up, and have a fantastic team, manager, fan base, support and chance to write some history (rather than just being an 'oh, Real has another decent season'). Either going back to back and/or winning the CL would give him legend status here (since we've done neither thing before, but have a great chance to do it this season). And signing Bruno G would also push that closer.
All that said..... Im pretty positive Vini would rather stay at Madrid if he can. Most players don't want to leave. But I'm not sure Real are going to buckle. They don't want to get raked over the coals by 2 players in 2 years.
The choice is up to Vini at this point. Does he give up more of his demands to stay, or does he move to us and get everything he wants and be the chance to be 'the guy' here?
