Vini's stats are not that impressive if you consider how Real are set up. To a lesser extent you can say the same thing about Odegaard, who in turn was a superb talent whose stats were unrepresentative of his skill because Real were not set up for him.
I've watched a lot of Vinicius playing for underwhelming Brazil and, while I agree he is a good player and fits our current needs, he is largely replaceable for Madrid and we would have to pay him more than they will to have him come here.
Ultimately I hope it's true that Arteta loves him and hopefully can turn him into the player he is marketed to be, but he also loved Willian.
