Kvicha and Alvarez would be wishlist material - we would definitely need to move on Trossard/Martinelli, Jesus and Havertz/Gyokeres to make it happen.

Loved Camavinga 2 years ago. Don't love him now. His injury history is horrendous and a lot of them are absences due to hamstring injuries. I shudder at the thought of someone with that injury history in La Liga coming into the high intensity EPL.

Camavinga as cover for Zubimendi and/or Rice makes sense to me. Norgaard out, Camavinga in is an updgrade for sure.

But I don't think he's good enough to improve our starting XI.

Alvarez isn't coming - For one Atletico themselves signed him for 90m, the second is he is hardly a prolific goalscorer

The last thing we need is another non-prolific striker to supplement our non-prolific wingers (even saka these days) and 2-3 goals a season odegaard behind them

They both have 17 goals this season. 9 assists for Alvarez and 5 for Gordon. Martinelli is 11 and 5.

Looking at league goals, alvarez has had one decent season in europe with a max of 17

It's just not happening and for good reason

A Martinelli/Trossard----Alvarez----Saka trio with Ode behind them hardly screams goals

Don't give me that "link-up etc." please that Alvarez will bring, for 120-130m I expect a version of rice upfront

We need to pack off Trossard, Jesus for sure and then hope that we can get some west ham/everton to pick up noni

GK - Raya to stay, Kepa to be sold asap (Heck get chesney in for a year)
RB - Timber to stay and needs new deal (White apparently can be offloaded)
CB - Clear situation here Gabi, Saliba have new deals and Hincapie will be signed + Mosquera
LB - MLS could be a sizeable sale (Don't shoot the messenger), Cala + Hincapie there but might need cover
Deep mid - Zubi + Rice then Norgaard could leave so bring in Tonali/Anderson or one of the lot
RW - Saka/Dowman covered + Ethan as choice (Pack off noni if possible)
AM - Eze/Ethan + whatever happens with Ode (Though i don't see any changes here)
LW - Martinelli + Trossard (I think most likely addition and sale will be here)
ST - Vik don't think he's going anywhere, Jesus to be shipped off, Kai decision to be made (only 2 years left on near 300k a week with his last big contract renewal left)

You're right that we need numbers in center midfield. MLS shouldn't be sold and could be used there.

The clearest real gap is left wing. CF too if we're lucky but I doubt it. Everything else would be tinkering with marginal personnel upgrades like White or Norgaard or Trossard. Sell and bring someone as good or marginally better.
