Looking at the squad we have Rice, Saka and Ödegaard who are high-profile injury suspects next season, and you'd be tempted to include Havertz too since he has started like 10 games in the last 18 months. That's gonna be impossible to cope with unless you sign more starters. This is also not easy when your level is supposed to be champions as opposed to top 4.
I reckon we need one starting quality midfielder and one starting quality winger, and even then we need someone like Dowman or Nwaneri to make great strides in their development and put themselves in the conversation. If they're good enough they should be able to do for us what Doué does for PSG or Lennart Karl does for Bayern. If they can't then they need to go on loan and we need to look elsewhere, because our established players aren't fit enough to buy them time right now.
