Could be our hardest game of the season. Chelsea have good momentum but let’s not forget they lost to Brighton and Sunderland at home this season. They can be got at especially if they try and press us.
Chelsea haven’t beaten us since August 2021. In fact since they beat us in Baku, they’ve only beaten us twice.
We haven’t lost at Stamford Bridge since August 2018 (Emery’s second ever game) but we haven’t won there since October 2022 (when Gabriel got the winner).
Rice v Caicedo is pure box office. Number 1 and number 2 best midfielders in the world going against each other.
Madueke back at his old stomping ground and would put Kai on the bench just to mess with them.
Chelsea fans getting too cocky with their ‘world champions’ shit. We need to bring them down a peg or two and by winning we eliminate them from the title race.
I wish I could go to this game as it’s down the road but away games very hard. I once went to Chelsea Arsenal in Jan 2020 when Martinelli did a Maradona but was in the Chelsea end so couldn’t celebrate.
Let’s see how Tross is but I would play same team as Sunday essentially. Eze and Merino don’t lose their places no matter what.
