We need more of a focal point in the attack I think, but I don't know who we'd pick. Martinelli up front in the second half maybe? We have to get Bayern's possession down a bit and the easiest way to do that is to occupy Upamecano.

Klaus Upameccano is one of the best man markers in the world. Better have players running from his blindside into the box

He's also prone to switching off although that happens seldomly these days

Klaus I kinda agree. I think he can put in a decent shift defensively but he needs guidance and instead of Gabby, he's got Mosquera for company this evening, who for all his talents isn't going to do that for him.

He can still attack (see his assist for Gabby M against Atleti) but yeah, his long-term future probably lies elsewhere.

Don Pacifico Definitely. He can absolutely contribute to attacking play if he finds himself in the final third because he's excellent technically, but he doesn't create attacking moves from the fullback position like Timber or Calafiori do. There's no width with him. His thing is to fold into midfield instead, and who needs that in a game like this where we're going to be outpossessed anyway?

Gazza M yeah exactly this at the top you switch off that can be it a bit like the PSG semi first leg and we have to learn that lesson. Bayern haven't always looked great in the last two games at the Emirates but they find ways to be level dvd in the game with not a whole lot.

Tactics Yeah but we can't allow them so much of the field. Look at how Kane takes our centrebacks down a peg. Bloke's done nothing of note and is still a nuisance. Saliba has to waste all his energy on following him around.
