Good win. That's all we needed. Attack could still do with some work thought we were quite wasteful in final third and I actually thought Gyokeres had a positive impact overall.

Another positive result in a match we have struggled in recently will give the boys belief it will be our year and we can go all the way. That effect can start to become a self fulfilling prophecy I hope hehe.

I guess we can't complain as we got the result but taking off Eze for Merino was a horrible sub football wise, we lost all fluency and control on the ball with that. Merino just doesn't have the agility and deftness to play that role.

Sicario2 Eze was playing really well in the second half. The timing of his sub annoyed me as he was playing well when it happened after a quiet first half. I am guessing its a pre-planned fitness sub though. Wish Ethan had come on for him though, as Pep said we lost control of the game after that sub.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert Yeah, Eze wasn't at his best and I thought just before our goal that I'd swap him for Nwaneri.

Merino was annoying as hell by always turning and passing it back whenever he received it. I guess he was being smart and helping us bring down the tempo and maintain control, but there were at least two occasions off the top of my head when a bit more progressive play could put us in a great position to get the second goal and make it even more safe.
