it'll be a caceido type situation, the selling club has no reason to sell in january. what will bournemouth or juve get in january that they can't get in the summer while also not losing the services of an important player mid-season? the player will post on social media how they want to leave and don't want to play for their current club anymore? caceido did that.

Especially now that he extended his contract over the summer, IIRC. Wenger had it right when he said that the summer is the only logical time to do transfers.

banduan we’re alright but not elite on the left. Buying a left winger adds depth to both our striker and central playmakers pool, allowing Eze and Martinelli to play in the middle

I don't think we'll make a big transfer in January. We already had to move Hincapies payment to next summer, don't see where we'd get the leeway to sign someone like Semenyo. I'm happy enough anyway, wait until next summer and reinforce then.

Qwiss Yup, think a few will be moved on in the summer and maybe add a 2 or at max 3 players in. Don't think we'll see a window like last summer as there is no need. We are probably pushing things as it is, it is very hard to have a massive squad and motivated. Pep and Klopp have spoken about this a lot in the past, upsets team cohesion when you have too many players and they are not getting enough games.

I think we went all out in the summer so that we would not HAVE to dip into January. Thats why we have the insane depth now. Barring a disaster between now and then with injuries (i know, its certainly possible), dont think we will be big players in the market in January. Could we get a LW? Yeah, maybe if an opportunity presents itself, but not sure we are actively pushing for anything.

Funnier was when DiabyKF rated the summer transfer window I think a 4 or something, and then we put out our bench against Brighton for the Carabao and he said it was world class.

Sicario2 Almost too good to be true, and if it were any other club I wouldn't believe it, but Nottingham are the most mismanaged club in Premier League currently. This is right in line with their normal behaviour.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking. We already have 4 super top talents at CB and others that can play there (like Benny or Cala). And this kid is seemingly too good for the bench.
