Glad they didn't get Guehi. I've never really rated him that highly but it's an area Liverpool are short and would have made them look a lot more solid in terms of depth. Their CB backups are Gomez and an Italian kid who has played 7 full senior matches so far in his career. There's probably a lot riding on Van Dijk maintaining fitness and form until January at least, which is a considerable gamble given he's 34 now.
Offense wise Liverpool's signings seem a bit odd. I won't be surprised if Slot figures it all out as he's a top coach, but they're a strange mix. The Athletic did a good video on Wirtz recently. Liverpool have essentially been a transitional team that moves the ball forward very quickly but Slot wants them to play with more control. Wirtz is very much suited for that but he's not having nearly as many touches as he did at Leverkusen and many of them are in deeper areas, as Liverpool are still tending to play in their typical patterns but at the same time they've lost Trent who was a big part of making them so successful. Now they've signed Isak, who is another player who suits a fairly transitional style, and who will probably push Ekitike into a wider role which he's less suited to, which is promising as he has started really well at 9 for them.
