Dom I've said this before, but having gone to uni up there (30 years ago!) I got taken to watch them play Monaco in the UEFA Cup about 3 weeks after arriving. They lost 1-0, but won the tie 3-1, the biggest cheer of the night came when Manchester United's result was announced (they'd also lost, obvs). As we left the ground, there were Leeds fans fighting with each other.
I am never coming back here, I thought. And so I turned down the opportunity to go and watch the Arsenal there a few weeks later, thereby missing out on a 3-0 win and Wrighty's outrageous no look chip.
I still have friends up there though. So the game tomorrow is super important to me.
