Three easy points here, and against a despicable club too. We need to do our part to send them back to the Championship.
Klaus what is wrong with them? I much prefer them than a shit no name championship team being in the prem. At least Leeds have history.
This is the game that should allow us to see what the plan is for these types of games against opposition where we've often tried to use control ball. Will we change the approach and play with a bit more risk and show the changes in approach we are doing to need for the season.
banduan if Gyo scores this week the mood change around the club is going to insane.
Expect Eze in the stands.
I'd expect Eze on the bench tbh
Pepe LeFrits
As long as he gets registered in time, maybe. Otherwise, he'll watch from the stands
Pepe LeFrits doing his medical tomorrow - do you think so?
Think I've managed to wangle a late ticket to the game so would love to see him make his debut (as well as getting a convincing win!). 🤞
Pepe LeFrits I expect him on the bench vs Liverpool but you never know.
Pepe LeFrits Seems like the medical won't take place in time to register him, but I imagine he'll at least get to say hello to us all (yes, I'm going too!)
Pepe LeFrits looking likely now.
Sicario2 a history of being dirty.
Sicario2 Just a scummy club. They were the prototype billionaire club before the chavs themselves struck gold with Roman and I couldn't stand how fucking snooty they were last time when Bielsa were in charge. Horrible stain on English football that needs to be washed away. Some things can't be reformed, they need to be burned to the ground.
Sicario2
Leeds are like Milwall. They cultivate a certain type of fan following. I've been to Leeds a few times and that football club is a disgrace to their city. The club has historically been poison and many of their fans (who seem distant to modern day Leeds) are still proud of the traditional Leeds Utd values like violence, cheating and bigotry.
Don Pacifico lol from the 1960’s.
They had a good young team under David O’Leary that reached the 2001 CL semi finals, that’s the Leeds I remember.
RocktheCasbah bummer if so
RocktheCasbah registration deadline is tomorrow, can still happen, but no point to rush him.
Pepe LeFrits well, look at it this way, when he scores the winner at Anfield next week, it's going to be the best Arsenal league debut ever (sorry, Wrighty!)
I reckon there is a small chance he can be on the bench v Leeds but he will play no more than 5/10 mins if he is playing tonight for Palace.
Klaus fair enough but would still prefer them in the league than the likes of Burnley and other clubs with zero history.
Their game is also a derby v Man Utd so good to have a team that can get the latter to drop points.
Klaus Blackburn were the prototype billionaire club. Leeds were just stupid with their spending and chucked it all away thinking it'd guarantee CL football and they'd be fine.
Sicario2 to be fair to Burnley, they were one of the founding members of professional football in this country. At this point, history is literally all they have!
I've always loved that there's a lil bee on Burnley's emblem. I can't really explain why, but it just looks so precious. Same with Brentford. We need more bees in the league!
