Tactics probably, but the palace game and this one have revealed a few headwinds for Liverpool this season. if VVD and salah have soft seasons, and wirtz isnt a smash hit, they will struggle

Looks like more of the same this season. Liverpool with the goals , defensively suspect at times but the firepower up front wins them games.

Liverpool will be looking to over power teams offensively it's risky but they do have a lot of attacking quality to draw on.

Qwiss true, difficult to know if that matters I'm not sure any of the teams look like they can hit that level right now.

JazzG I guess we'll see, it's definitely risky but it depends what the rest of the league are like. You need attack to win a title we've learnt that the hard way, what side of the line they are are on we'll see over the next 10-15 games.

awooga83 Attack will win you a game but a good defence will win you the title. As the old saying goes!

Liverpool would need a lot of teams to fall off with a defence like that, if you’re defence is around the same as others you can get away but today they could have conceded 3/4 goals.

Also shame Semenyo extended his contract, I really like him as a player. Wonder if we would have been in for him if he hasn’t.

Qwiss Yeah he was a big miss and think they’ll be a lot better with him back, wonder if they go with Mac Allister or Szbo when he’s back.

Both the Liverpool fullbacks looked very shaky to me

Qwiss maybe but we have yet to deliver 89 ia the high water mark we will see if it's an outlier or something we can hit again but at this point we've never achieved that so I'm not sure it can be read that we can do that personally. Like Liverpool after 10-15 we will know what kind of team we are this season and if that is looking more likely.
