awooga83 We just gave up two goals we possibly shouldn't have from dead balls. The first came before we were rolling, the second when it looked like we'd pulled out the win. In between they didn't get near us much, and meanwhile we scuffed at two or three very good second half chances.
It was a very stop-start match with a ton of breakdowns, laboured long throw preparations, and more or less credible injury stoppages. There were almost 20 minutes of time added on across both halves.
Mentioned it above as did others, but the questionable aspect of the match was Arteta's reluctance to use the bench. That plan had come off till the 94th minute, but for the previous quarter hour Sunderland had had much more of the ball.
