In the last six games we've won two, drawn three and lost one. The momentum is gone. The results and performances might as well be a giant neon sign that Arteta and the senior players, in particular, can't handle the pressure.

I don't have a great deal of faith in Arteta suddenly turning this around, but I have faith in City not being good enough to win ten out of twelve games.

I'm expecting us to drop points against Spurs and Chelsea but still be in the title race when we go to the Emptyhad for what will likely be the decider.

Dom momentum shouldn’t be exclusive for just the league. We’ve won 4 out of last 5 games including a massive win over a rival (Chelsea). Win tomorrow and that’s 5/6. That is good form going into the business end of the season. Momentum in the league is fleeting. City drew with spurs and lost all momentum but then they win the next game and they got it again?

I don't think City have unstoppable momentum. Despite their signings, they still have an old and slow midfield and give up plenty of chances. Despite how wobbly we are, we still have a good chance to beat them at their ground.

There will be extra drama surrounding the Carabao final at Wembley because of how much that away date in April is going to matter in the league.

Dom Any combination of results I can imagine, what I can't imagine is the Wembley final playing out without any fan, media, etcetera suggestions the performances there influenced the Etihad match.

Burnwinter I think there is a convergence of issue. The pressure makes us tighten up a bit but this needs to be overcome and other impediments like fatigue need to be carefully managed to not add to that issue. Being nervy plus feeling leggy is worse than just being nervy.
