We need Eze. It’s not just an add to cart scenario.
He will bring balance to the force.
Think of it this way. Right now attack line with Gyokeres looks like:
LW: Martinelli: strong runner (meh passer, meh shooter) CF: Gyokeres: Runner, Shooter (ok passer) RW: Saka: (Triple threat - run, pass, shoot)
Eze on the left changes that, and gives us someone who has creative and passing ability, with less focus on the relentless running and finishing, even though he can do those to a decent level. He also has the skill to unlock low / mid blocks and can drift central into the spaces opened up when Gyokeres does his Henry impersonation (drifting and running into the left channel).
Basically once he strikes up chemistry with Gyokeres like he’s done with Mateta, he becomes our Firminho equivalent, except more skilly. We are going to be so good.
