Qwiss We have Merino and Nwaneri as backup 8s, plus Havertz. We’re not spending £60m+ on a player who will primarily be adding to that crowded group.

as our forward depth chart, competition for those three places in the XI would be brutal all season. Saka would be the only guaranteed starter when the season opens. Either Trossard or Martinelli certainly wouldn't be around. One or two of these guys would end up begging for minutes.

Sounds like a good problem for us to have. But lets not forget, injuries happen, so the important part is we have decent COVERAGE for these positions. We've been lacking game changing subs for a while, it will be nice to actually have some.

Sicario2 yeah so that's just where we've been at. No new news. Considering an approach. Not quite the strong push some of the less reliable sources are peddling. I'm still going with my we wont make a real offer until others are sold.
