Would have taken Eze over Madueke too. I like Martinelli though and I thought he had a very, very good game against Athletic. I'll say this for Arteta: I think Marty and Madueke are more in the style of what you need if you wanna play a proper 4-2-3-1 with straighter lines and more focus on the attack.
Let's just see what happens over the next month or two, shall we? I think we're underrating the players we already have. My opinion from the get go has been that Gyökeres will raise the floor massively due to the space and opportunity he creates for others, in addition to raising the ceiling with his own end product. Hard to think of a better forward profile to shift this team into a higher gear.
