An enormous pile of rubbish fills the stage. Two beggars, VLADIMIR and ESTRAGON, are stepping gingerly through the rubbish, inspecting individual pieces of rubbish as if searching for something specific.
VLADIMIR: Kept Isak on the bench the whole match too.
ESTRAGON: Isak hasn't trained or played all summer.
VLADIMIR: That's his own fault.
ESTRAGON: Of course.
He pauses.
But it's not like it's a decision based on a difference in quality.
VLADIMIR: Gyökeres barely had a preseason. Starts normally too. Isak plays more like a 10 for Sweden.
A brief pause as the pair continue to sift through the pile of rubbish.
VLADIMIR: Either way fuck that bloke.
ESTRAGON: I know.
Another pause as they continue fossicking.
ESTRAGON: I don't think either of them is keeping the other on the bench.
