Thanks for the memories Viktor, but it's time to say goodbye.
🤣
He is strong as fuck.
First game and all, but that was a properly bad 60 mins. 2/10 kind of performance. Not much worse than the rest of the team, mind.
Let's hope we see better next weekend from him and the rest also.
He was fouled for 60 minutes, got fuck all service then Havertz came on, was fouled for half an hour and got fuck all service.
Havertz needs to be starting in big games, simple as. Stronger, faster, more technically assured, better in the air. More suited to a proper battle. Gyokeres will be better when we have the ball and need to break teams down.
CPM Havertz had the same issues as Gyokeres in that game.
hopefully we can look back at the end of the season and say that's the worse he's ever played for us this season. that doesn't mean he'll be great because he could put in a 4/10 performance next week and it would still be better than this.
Qwiss
But that's why everyone agreed we needed more.
So so bad. We aren’t helping with the way we are playing but he really needs to show better technique both on and off the ball.
Wasn't great, obviously it's not one game that will make or break him. Hopefully he has the mentality to deal with this kind of stuff because it probably will be tough at times.
Speedster no striker is going to do much with the team playing like that behind him.
He looked like a league 2 player of the ball. And championship player on the ball. Let's hope he's just unfit, nervous and not used to the pace yet.
While havertz looks like a super talent that got kicked every day of his childhood and made to live under the porch. He has every tool he's needs but no belief in himself.
Also, I sure am glad I didn’t put a cent on this guy to end up top scorer with the way Haaland and city have started
flobaba
Yeah, well they also started against relegation candidates.
Speedster He looked like a league 2 player of the ball.
He fucked up his control once. Apart from that he was fine on the ball.
Speedster While havertz looks like a super talent
Havertz did very little.
Saying one of these players looked terrible and one looked great is not a fair assessment of the reality we seen on the pitch.
USArsenal Lenny Yoro, Luke Shaw and De Ligt doesn't exactly scream elite defence to me...
Qwiss I'd forget the "cross" into the box as well if I was him
I'm not sure, like if your non league and you play a winger up to you tell him your not gonna win a long ball just disrupt the CBs clearance, that's how he played it.
He was sluggish on the turn. Awful pressing had no idea who was in his shadow.
Sorry mate I was saying they both didn't look up to it just in different ways. We need an improvement on Havertz. Hopefully he's just unfit.
flobaba that is sad for Saka as well, as Shaw locked him down with ease
flobaba Back 5 was also an issue for the forwards today. Especially as we didn't control their 2 man midfield like we should have.
That shanked cross was horrific but otherwise I didn't see anything that should have alarm bells ringing yet. United had a big CB pairing and they were wrestling him to the ground at every opportunity. Not one of our other attackers set up a chance for him.
