Klaus it’s fine to chase future value when buying players for the squad - the likes of Mosquera, Calafiori, Kiwor etc will either become dependable players for us or net us a decent return.

The trouble is if you expect every transfer to have a resale value rather than the squad as a whole - it essentially means you’ll never sign anyone over 25.

I’m with Klaus on putting some money on him as top goal scorer. William Hill have him 7/1. That seems like a decent shout even on an each way bet to finish in the top four goalscorers in the league.

Tam Dunno if he'll be top scorer but from watching clips of him I don't think the Portuguese league being an inferior league to the Prem is gonna be much of a factor. I think he'll score plenty and show us exactly what we've been missing playing without a pure striker for the last few years.

Really looking forward to the start of the league season now.

Tam Nice! Unibet had him at 13x the stake. I put 50 on him yesterday but I might get in on the each way bet too. There's no way he doesn't finish in the top 4 imo unless he gets a lengthy injury (touch wood).

My guess is that by Christmas he'll already have more goals than the Arsenal top scorers have had in total in recent years.
