I mean come on guys, chin up. Partey is gone and we've got Zubimendi and Gyökeres. We've shipped one sickly rapist and taken on two top class payers who never miss a game in the exact areas that win you the most points on the pitch. This is business so good that you want to print and frame it. We'll drop like a fucking hammer on United in the first game and never look back.
Klaus i hope so but got to remain humble. Let’s aim to have a great start to the season and take it from there.
Klaus who never miss a game
Mate can you not? 😬
Probs go 5 nil up playing with loads of swag and then we’ll bring on Madueke who will proceed to score 6 own goals in record time
Apparently Anders Limpar was something of a mentor for Gyökeres when he started out in Brommapojkarna: https://fotbolldirekt.se/internationellt/anders-limpar-vill-se-arsenal-ta-gyokeres-det-hade-varit-helt-galet/
Article's from 2024, but Limpar talks about how much he'd love to see Gyökeres in an Arsenal shirt. Seal of approval from god himself.
he has a career arc that lines up with some of footballs best late bloomers. keen to see what he can do in an arsenal shirt. he seems to be absolutely locked in mentally about this move.
Gazza M tbh he’s not really a late bloomer, most strikers don’t start really scoring until they hit 21 - 23, at 23 he scored 18 goals and since then 22, 43 and 54 He reminds me of Kane, doesn’t really have anything special but someone who always finds a way to score goals and has the confidence for it too.
Gazza M absolutely locked in mentally
Let's hope it's that and not "locked up for being mental" as it sounds to me like he's been running round like a pork chop for quite a while on this deal.
Finally, some quality backup for Kai.
Interested to see what number he will get. 14?
Ray he's a late bloomer in terms of playing for an elite club at the top level. and I'm not counting that as a strike against him, it might be his hidden strength. the guys that take a circuitous route to the top can have a different kind of mental toughness ans hunger, which appears to be the case given Vs willingness to fight for this move
He’s come on a lot physically in the past 2 years. Probably the catalyst for his stats going mental
Gazza M Giroud was a bit like that. He wasn't especially good, of course, but mentally tough and resourceful he was.
Burnwinter injured in preseason training coming right up
I think everyone knows my feelings on him but looks like he is joining, he'll have my full support and hope he tears shit up for us.
Deeply excited if this happens. He's been my pick over Šeško ever since I saw the latter's ink, no offence to believers but a bloke who gets a shithouse Golgotha tattoo on his bicep is screaming Mudr-IQ to me.
I am encouraged by the fact that he seems like a complete lunatic.
He'd be an immense super-sub I think, that might be his best role for us. Throw him on at 65' after controlling with Havertz, desperate to smash a goal in.
This is the correct response. None of this moving to Saudi Arabia in your prime nonsense that prats like Retegui are doing.
Seems to have the personality of Ram-Man from MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE.
