Wasn't being fully serious by the way. It was a greatly exaggered statement to show my disappointed if that would have happened. You could bring in Mourinho/Ten Hag/whoever and I'd still watch us. It would take something catastrophic for me to stop watching us after 30 years of emotional investment 😂.

They both carried the team on their shoulders, yes. However Thierry left us after giving us everything and was like 29 or something. Fabregas left us at like 23/24 at the start of his prime as soon as Barca seriously came in for him.
I think I've had this convo before with Speedster but I don't give credit to Fabregas for staying those 2 years between 08/09 and 10/11 because Barca were never prepared to make a bid for him. Until they did, which is when he pushed his way out, which is where my dislike for him comes from.
