Doc Wirtz, Ekitike, Isak, Sesko and Joao Pedro all moved in the same summer. Of those, only Joao Pedro was in a similar price range - and they have similar stats. Actually of that group, only Ekitike has really taken off. Gyok isn’t amazing but the overall context shows forwards are struggling to make a big impact.

Looked alright today. Even without the goal, he won more duels his hold-up play was better. Hopefully a platform to build off of.

Don Pacifico -- yeah, goal and assist aside, I can think of a lot more involvement from him today. Used his body well, got to the channels early for through balls, and was a handful.

Laying off an assist is a big deal for this kid, he's looked like doing it lately. Defenders have stopped treating him with respect in recent weeks and we need them to.

Maybe giving him a game off was a good idea at the weekend. Really pleased for him tonight, probably more with the assist than the goal - but obviously good to get both.
